Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
They’re also shooting for 100% renewable plastic sources by 2030! All of the soft plant/leaf elements in sets right now and going forward are made out of bioplastic made from sugarcane, and they’re working on getting the regular hard plastic bricks out of that, too.
They’ve done it, actually! The full bricks are in the prototype stage now, and are expected to be 100% biodegradable without the need for a commercial compost facility. It’s very cool. Right now they’re testing the durability and playability of the bricks and seeing what needs to be revised/reworked on their final model.
I typed out another donation post and lost it lol well long story short my 21 year old car with 221k miles on it needs about $1k worth of work on it. I just need a new car at this point but I feel like I won’t reach my goal of $3k, so I’m shooting for $1k.
I’m disabled and I don’t live close to any bus stops. I make $660 a month and have no way of saving up that kind of money.
I also have a $400 bill to my car insurance company that I have to pay off before I can get it legal, so I guess I actually need 1.4k at the minimum. My tags are expired and this car will not pass inspection unless I get this work done.
I only got $60 from my last donation post over the course of 3 weeks, and I could REALLY use the help :(

Had to go ahead and get my car towed because my landlord threatened to tow it if I didn’t. I have doctor appointments I need to get to and I can’t keep digging into that donated money for ubers. Please help!
With this money put back for my car, I don’t have any money left for the rest of the month unless I dig into my car money. I get paid $660 on June 3rd; I get that once a month. So now I’m at a point where I need both car money AND money for ubers/lyfts in the meantime. I also need a washer and dryer, all my clothes are dirty, but that’s not as important to me right now since I can do my laundry once or twice a month at a friend’s house. Anyway.

So the 600 should be enough to cover just enough to get it to pass inspection, but my tags are expired and I can’t renew them until I pay off my $400 bill to my car insurance, AND I have a warrant out for my arrest because of a missed court date, so driving on expired tags is very dangerous for me.
I still need at least $400 more + the cost of the ubers I’ve been taking, so more like $500
